About The Big Yellow House

Managed by Chez Flaneur LTD, the Big Yellow House is an unique heritage home in the heart of Nelson.

It is host to a growing community of audio and visual artists, coming together to create opportunities that result in Living Wage Jobs for artists.

The owner Paul Hentschel (aka Reggie Flaneur) is a Bay St survivor turned entrepreneur and avid benefactor of the arts with the goal of helping artists earn a living wage in whole or in part by their art.

To this end he has dedicated rooms in his home for studio spaces that he shares with his friends and residents of the house.
